John, our fearless leader, is passionate about partnering with clients looking to grow their businesses. John has been doing marketing/sales/consulting for over 20 years, but he’s always wanted to start his own company and run things his own way and, to that end, received his MBA in 2010. Four years later, after an educational stint within the startup scene and years of observing the best way to support sales teams, John and his wife, Tasha, founded tfleads. He considers running this growing company and living in Austin a dream. Outside of work, John loves spending time with the fam, technology, basketball, and coaching/watching his kids’ sports.
Co-founder, CEO, Chief Lead Generator
Tasha jumped off the cliff with John in starting tfleads in 2014. She skillfully filled in the gaps for several years as the company got on its feet and, though her background is in social work, discovered quite a knack for marketing. As the team has grown she’s now focusing most of her energy on their 3 kids, though midnight strategy sessions are still pretty commonplace. Tasha is excited about organizing tfleads’ volunteer work in the Austin community!
With a background in healthcare, non-profit, and municipal government, Rachael brings dynamic layers of expertise in building relationships and scaling teams. Having held Board Chair positions in PR and Economic Development, she believes strategy, collaboration, and communication are key as she blends her passion and analytical mindset as a partner of the tfleads Leadership Team and co-host of the FunnelVision podcast.
Rachael holds two B.S. in Business Management and Psychology from WSU, is the mum of five grown children, military advocate and supporter of Dell Children’s Medical Center. She can be found working on her golf swing or hitting snowy slopes in her free time.
Director of Client Success
After graduating with a B.A. in English: Creative Writing, Rachel spent several years hustling as a freelance wordsmith doing content creation, copyediting, and social media management in a kaleidoscopic of B2B and B2C industries. Those learnings make her a great teammate to have in marketing as well as for playing bar trivia. Rachel is also a passionate bibliophile who enjoys yoga, nature documentaries narrated by David Attenborough, large cups of coffee, and larger pizzas.
Growing up in Napa Valley gave Kevin a head start most people don’t get in their professional lives. Getting starting in the hospitality industry at a young age, he learned right away that he had an intense passion for people and helping others in any way he could. That magic of wine country resonated and has stuck with him to this day. Kevin has 25 years experience in sales and takes pride in putting a hospitable twist on everything he does. Kevin usually spends his weekends with his wife and 4 sons, watching baseball tournaments in some city, somewhere. Then back to the house to relax with a glass of wine in the backyard.
Since completing her education at Texas Tech University in public relations, Alyssa has been passionate about the world of digital marketing. Her ability to work on a team and manage time allows her to successfully onboard and interact with new clients as well as conduct campaign research for new clients. She is always eager to stay current with marketing trends and contribute new ideas to the team. Alyssa is also a big sports fan, especially DFW sports teams and the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Wreck ’em! During her free time, you can find her playing with her dog, going to concerts, or checking out the newest hot spot in Austin.
Mattie graduated with a BS in Public Relations from Texas State University. Her previous experience in digital media and social for small business owners crafted her eye for sharp detail. Her enthusiasm to translate data into impactful messaging brings creative initiatives and fresh perspectives to our diverse range of clients. She spends her free time getting lost in Austin trails with her whippet Brownie.
Client Success Manager
Empowering others is a passion of hers. She seeks to help clients achieve their marketing objectives through creative digital strategy and account management.
In order to strengthen her skills and connect with other emerging change-makers, she studied a Masters at the University of Alcala in Madrid, Spain. After graduating, she decided to contribute her time to learning all the traits of digital marketing.
In her spare time, she enjoys listening to episodes of the NPR podcast “Hidden Brain”, cooking, being outdoors with friends and family, and traveling.

Sydney graduated with her BA in Spanish from St. Edward’s University in 2020. She decided to stay here in the beautiful city of Austin after graduation. She is bilingual and loves to travel. Her culture awareness and ability to bring people together brings a fresh perspective and allows for relational growth in both lead generation and client success. After hours, you can can find Sydney hanging out with friends or exploring Austin’s coolest bars, parks, and landmarks.

As a young professional, Mark enjoys opportunities to craft strategy and social media work for brands. Being a native Texan, he moved from San Antonio to Austin for the chance to study advertising at The University of Texas. Hook ‘em Horns! Now he is working hard to gain relationship-based lead gen experience that tfleads thrives on. With the support & mentorship from our team, he is learning to successfully navigate savvy solutions for today’s marketing landscape.After hours you can catch Mark running around Austin, making some noise with The Longhorn Band, or playing with his baby dachshund. (Almost always the last one.)

I started Top of the Funnel Leads (aka tfleads) with my wife, Tasha, in early 2014 because I’ve seen firsthand that, from start-ups to large enterprises, companies don’t always have the resources, time, or expertise to dedicate to lead generation and do it well. Anyone that has been in sales knows that it is critical to keep the leads pipeline full.
Our vision is to be the very best in digital lead generation, so that whether we are executing campaigns, consulting/training clients, or sharing best practices and resources – we can always be a lead generation partner.
